Steps Commonly Used For Self-Hypnosis

Self-hypnosis usually requires four distinct steps.

1.      Motivation. Without proper motivation, you or anybody else for that matter will find it difficult to practice self-hypnosis.

2.      Relaxation: You must be thoroughly relaxed and be able to set aside time to perform self-hypnosis. Soalldistractions need to be eliminated asyour full attention is required.

3.      Concentration: You will need to concentrate completely on the task at hand as progress is made each time the mind focuses on a single image.

4.      Directing: This is an option used only when you want to work on a specific goal that you have in mind. You must direct your concentration on visualizing the desired result that you’re aiming for.
